Fixing “80244019” on Windows

If you want to fix this error immediately, then follow the instructions methods provided below one after the other:
Fix #1: Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)
Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS), also Windows Update service, must be running. To run them, do the following:
  1. Press Windows Key on your keyboard as well as X key at the same time.
  2. Click on Command Prompt (Admin) to open Command Prompt with administrator rights.
  3. In the Command Prompt, type in net start BITS and push Enter.
  4. After completing Step 3, type another line in CMD: net start wuauserv and push Enter again.
  5. After completing these steps, try to check for a Windows Update again. In case the problem persists, proceed to the next method.
Fix #2: Turn the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) On
In Order to settle code 80244019 while refreshing or introducing windows refreshes, you will be required to Turn ON DEP in the event that it isn’t as of now ON. Take after underneath said steps.

Fix #4: Disable both anti-virus/malware and Firewall Programs
Consider disabling both the installed third-party anti-virus/malware program and the in-built Firewall program that can interfere with the installation of updates because of internal system conflicts. Perform the following steps to disable Firewall.
  1. Click Start.
  2. Type Firewall.cpl in the search box.
  3. Click on Windows Firewall.
  4. Click Turn Windows Firewall Off.
  5. Press OK.
  6. Try Updating your windows now. (Note: You should not get error 8007000e if firewall was the problem. Just remember to turn both programs ON to protect your computer in case the method works.)
